SMX London 2010: Rand Fishkin & Kristján Már Hauksson sing a happy song

I just got back from from the SMX Advanced conference in London. It was a very good show. Lots of great sessions and even I picked up a few new things to think about in my work. Monday night we went out for some good food and a “few” drinks. Some of us ended up singing in the streets of London. See the video here …

I would usually argue that I learn most on the conferences from the time spend between sessions and late at night. I am not quite sure what I did learn from Monday nights “street sessions” though. But I did very much enjoy it.

I personally want to thank Rand Fishkin from SEOMoz and Kristján Már Hauksson from Nordic eMarketing in Iceland so much for the great entertainment and a totally lack of any kind of shyness. I really do love you guys!

Well, maybe what I did learn from that evening is that the SEO business is still a very fun business to be in. Not only because we make great money and because we are one of the few trades that grow during these times of recession but also because “we” are a really crazy group of people. We know how to have fun and we truly enjoy having it. I love it!

Nights like this makes me look forward to the next conference…
